Tail-f actively participates in, and contributes to a number of standards defining efforts centered around operations and management.

IETF

The Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) is a large open international community of network designers, operators, vendors, and researchers concerned with the evolution of the Internet architecture and the smooth operation of the Internet.

Tail-f participates in the work around the NETCONF protocol and The YANG language defined in the NETMOD working group.

SAForum

The Service Availability Forumâ„¢ is a consortium of industry-leading communications and computing companies working together to foster an ecosystem that enables the use of commercial off-the-shelf building blocks in the creation of high availability network infrastructure products, systems and services.

Tail-f participates in activities around the Information Model Management (IMM) service.

TMForum

The TeleManagement Forum has more than 500 members, runs the industry’s leading OSS/BSS Conference and Exposition, and its standards are being adopted by the UN body, the International Telecommunications Union (ITU).

Tail-f participates in Harmony Catalysts with particular focus on resource management and service provisioning.
