ConfD Web UI

The ConfD Web UI enables very rapid development of modern, dynamic, and graphical network management applications. The ConfD software engine automatically renders a Web UI, eliminating the need for time consuming coding and testing.

ConfD’s Web UI has the following capabilities:

  • Full access to all aspects of the configuration data model and database
  • Reuse of existing monitoring and execution commands
  • Full control over look and feel to ensure alignment with branding guidelines
  • Auto rendering of whole or parts of Web UI applications directly from data model specification
  • AJAX API to facilitate development of interaction patterns that significantly improve usability
  • Clean separation between Web UI and data model
  • AAA framework shared with CLI and NETCONF plus direct support for Linux PAM
  • Operations on candidate and running configuration data stores
  • Locking on data stores across agent interfaces to avoid deadlocks or accidental conflicts between CLI and Web UI
  • Built-in Web server with support for HTTP and HTTPS
