Tail-f Systems, the leading developer of on-device configuration management software for networking equipment providers, today announced a milestone of 30 equipment provider customers using the NETCONF protocol modules of ConfD, its flagship product.

ConfD provides a single unified management interface for all applications and meets the requirements of carrier-grade networking products. Within ConfD, northbound management interfaces (NETCONF, Web UI, CLI, and SNMP) are automatically rendered from a single data model. An integrated datastore provides the performance, replication, and clustering capabilities expected of a highly scalable and continuously available system. All ConfD management interfaces support transaction management to ensure consistent configuration changes and minimize disruption errors.
